Recently, a lithotripsy using HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) was developed by researchers. During the treatment, target renal stones need to be tracked in order to shorten treatment time. However, cavitation cloud induced by HIFU and HIFU beams make ultrasonic clutter environment, and disturb tracking. In this work, an optimal tracking method is explained. In advance, equivalent ellipse model is decided for a target renal stone. The center point and major axis angle of the equivalent ellipse model is tracked optimally. We propose stochastic Hough transform using particle filter. Dynamic model applied Newton's motion equation to ARM (Auto Regressive Model). Observation model applied Hough transform.
