In this paper fuzzy boundary curves between two neighboring regions after mesh segmentation are globally rectified by a Graph Cut approach, in which we construct new energy functions with polygon face edge lengths, triangle normal and distortion tolerances between 3D points and the associated proxies. However,some boundary curves are still not straight since there are not straight lines around borders in the original scanned mesh models but its corresponding object curves are straight. In order to further straighten them, we will split some triangles by adding some points and edges based on triangle subdivision and optimize them based on graph cut method.
