Abstract

The paper describes the current situation of university students from the author′s experiences at the student placement center of Kochi University of Technology. The inadequate training in language education from childhood, university students′ logical writing and speaking skills are poor. The cooperation between universities and senior high schools is necessary to resolve the problem.
