Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a new removal processing for water-soluble single crystal. Water-soluble single crystal is damaged by a laser beam irradiation in the air because of the influence of thermal stress. When the temperature of the water solution is raised by the heat of YAG laser beam, the solubility of the single crystal in the water is increased. Therefore, the water-soluble single crystal is dissolved in the water solution in this method. The dissolution is utilized on this process. In this study, the KDP, NaCl and AlK(SO4)212H2O those solubility are different are chosen as a water-soluble single crystal. The surface of KDP is processed and the roughness is measured because the crystal is used for the optical element. Then it is compared the processing with NaCl and AlK(SO4)212H2O.
