Abstract
The flexural vibration disks were designed for dispersion of ultra-fine particles in liquid by using FEM analysis. The flexural vibration disks can excite a circumferential flexural traveling wave vibration by driving two degenerating resonant modes with the different phases separated by 90°. The resonance frequency of the degenerating resonant modes was matched to that of bolted langevin type transducer by optimizing thickness of the disk. The place of the transducer was optimized to minimize the driving force.
