Abstract
Self-assembled fine particles have wide surface area and thus can improve the sensitivity of biochemical sensors that utilizes surface reaction. This study aims to improve the sensitivity of such sensors by assembling particles on optical element. Firstly, we clarified the problems in self-assembly of silica fine particles on the optical element surface with dip-coating method. Then, the particles on optical element were modified with protein to promote antibody-antigen reaction. Then we made clear the effect of the assembly profile and the characteristic of the optics element on the sensitivity.
