Abstract
Many people lose their lives due to drunk driving accidents or suffering from heatstroke. In the future, blood alcohol level and dehydration may be determined by accurate measurement of blood flow. To measure blood flow accurately, a sensor considered the effect of contact pressure on blood flow is needed, because contact pressure can influence blood flow. Simulation and experiment were that each weights of different shape were put on the top surface of a lug attached at the top surface of a deformation plate and the vertical displacement of the plate was measured. The results of simulation and experiment will lead to obtain high accuracy measurement of contact pressure.
