Alcohol detection with the MEMS blood flow sensor build in contact pressure sensor

Abstract

Although breathalyzer test is the major method for detecting alcohol, its cartridge should be replaced frequently because it has a limit of the number of times the detector used.We focus on the problem and study the detecting alcohol with MEMS blood flow sensor.In the previous study, we compared the blood flow at the time of raising hand before and after drinking alcohol to detect alcohol, however this method was difficult for people who are hard to raise hand.Therefore, in this study, we developed a device that can measure blood flow by placing a finger and detected alcohol.
