Abstract

The final goal of this study is to develop a vision-based method for measuring the three-dimensional dynamic motion error. In this study, the development of a special 3D target marker is discussed. The intensity distribution of the marker should be uniform in arbitrary direction because the intensity distribution of the marker is fitted by the mathematical function to obtain the central position of the marker. Through the optical scattering principle, the thickness and roughness of the scattering plate that makes the intensity distribution uniform is discussed.
