The Constant Field Size of Lateral Interference between Detectors at Any Eccentricity

The field size of lateral interference found in several studies were calculated. Then, using magnification factor in human visual cortex, we transformed these values into the length of the cortex. Although the field size in visual angle increases with the eccentricity, the transformed length appears to be constant at any eccentricity. The results shows that the field size of lateral interference in visual cortex is constant.
