This study was carried out for the purpose of optimization of transferability of injection molds. For this purpose, first, precise measurement of the die as input and a test piece as output is essential. The measurement is carried out by a combination of two methods: three-dimensional measurement using three-dimensional measuring instruments and two-dimensional measurement using microscopes or projectors. Three-dimensional measurements made by probing are problematic in that the force of probe contact can deform the test piece, but this problem was solved in the present study by the development of an optimized measuring method, suitable for new fixtures and test pieces.
