The optimization of quantitative analysis for infrared spectroscopy was conducted through quality engineering approach. Linear Multiple Regression Model was used for the estimation of mixture component ratios. Several samples of polystyrene-polymethylmethacrylate blend polymer were accurately prepared and experimentally quantified as the signal. SN ratio was used for the evaluation and significant control factors such as absorption band and its region were determined. A gain of 4.36 decibel was confirmed from this study.
