Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a method of understanding user's requirements systematically and designing a product satisfying them, and has been applied to many products with successful results. However most of its applications have been implemented case by case. In order to obtain basic knowledge to improve QFD's efficiency, this paper aims to extract the common features which exist between quality requirements for various products. The five products used by university students were taken as an example, and then the quality requirements to these products were investigated. As a result, commonness in required quality items and evaluations on their necessity was observed.
