Abstract
There are several methods available for the measurements of radon activity, gas ionization chambers. ZnS scintillator, etc.
These methods have a disadvantage of difficulty of Rn gas sampling. So we developed a simple method for Rn measurement with liquid scintillator, which depended upon the fact that Rn had a large solubility in toluene used as a organic scintillation solvent.
This method is very convenient for the measurement of Rn gas concentration, especially in zuater.
