Abstract
The mobility of shale oil is crucial for the reservoir’s producibility. Insufficient mobility of shale oil may increase extraction challenges and decrease oil and gas recovery rates. The mobility of shale oil directly affects the efficiency and economic viability of extraction. Poor mobility necessitates the use of more expensive and complex technologies, while good mobility can reduce extraction costs and enhance economic benefits. This article focuses on the influence of four key factors—reservoir depth, organic carbon content, reservoir mineral composition, and porosity—on shale oil mobility. The aim is to provide scientific evidence for the rational formulation of extraction strategies, improve resource extraction efficiency, and ensure the sustainable development of shale oil resources.
