Abstract

In these days, tourism promotions are focused as the countermeasures to prevent the lowering the qualities of public services, specific in rural areas, triggered by the longevity and the declining population and birth rate. The earthquake disaster at March.2011 brought great problems to Tohoku. The traveling demands to the Tohoku areas aren't restored to the level before the earthquake. Therefore, the efforts of restoring and enhancing the demands of traveling are being done.<br>In this study, we focused on the repeat-visit-intention to the Tohoku areas. The subjects are the people who went to Tohoku areas in 5 years around 2011. We divided the samples, before the disaster and after the disaster visiting, and composed Ordered probit models which explain the repeat-visit-intention. Then, we found out the changes of attractions before and after the disaster. In addition, we tried to measure the effects of environmental improvements.
