Abstract

The evidence or trace of the railroad line may remain even if a long time has passed from a railroad is abandoned. This research aims to understand the factor of these remaining. To this end, the land use and building arrangement of the object areas were classified in consideration of the relation with the feature of the neighborhood of railways. Object areas were 2 railways orbits and their neighborhood. As a result, it was turned out that there was a tendency to remain the evidence of the railroad except for the case where facilities, such as a school, are built on a railroad line.
