Abstract

Information and communication technology development have increased internet information transmission and communication effects on people's willingness to join regional activities thorough the internet, the kinds of activities they were encouraged to join, and features of people who were encouraged to join. Results revealed the following. 1) Although few people recognized web page or SNS related to regional activities, most web page or SNS users tended to join activities. 2) Internet users who check news often were most likely to be encouraged to join regional activities through the internet.
