The percentage of the area of the shade was obtained through the image analysis and the transition in shadow during the 11 points was grasped quantitatively. It was figured out that the sequence of alternating light and dark scenes were
almost same except at 15:00-15:30 of the winter solstice. On the other hand, the degree of light and dark of each
viewpoint was different depending on time and seasons. The main factor was sun elevation, and in specific, defoliation of trees in winter solstice.
