Study on architectural form considering setting of 'small base' in old city planning area of Sagamihara city

Abstract

Community maintenance is an issue in many suburban areas.In many areas we are thinking about setting a "small base".In this research, we analyze setting of "small base" from accessibility and building situation.This research is conducted as a case study on the former city planning area of Sagamihara city.Using GIS, it analyzed by the space syntax theory.As a result of the analysis, we confirmed one place with the most accessibility.A walking area was assumed at this place.We confirmed the building situation in the walking area and judged that setting of "small base" is possible.
