It clarifies that (1) forestry is recovering, but forests are being devastated in Fukushima Prefecture, (2) all 58 municipalities have challenges for forest and forestry regeneration, (3) more than half of these municipalities have requests for forest and forestry regeneration to the national government. This study points out that it is necessary to implement and continue existing projects and to establish a system that enables projects to be implemented throughout the forest based on the actual conditions.
