In this study, chronic hot spots and cold spots of the land surface temperatures were extracted by the spatial statistical method using the time-series data of summer in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Then, the spatial characteristics of these chronic hot spots and cold spots were grasped from the relationship with land uses.
