Abstract

This study aimed to understand the role and supporting factors for residence of the existing multi-regional residents depending on location characteristics and business contents of bases to promote multi-regional residence. We investigated the status of multi-regional residence-related measures, location characteristics, business content of bases, and the requirements of multi-regional residents. Subsequently, multiple business contents of the bases for residing in the studied municipalities assisted the multi-regional residents by providing an idea of the way of life in the region by supporting building connections with the community, and fulfilling the requirements of multi-regional residents. Consequently, establishment of bases with these business contents are expected to promote multi-regional residents. in the region.
