Abstract

In this report, as a case study of a sporting event aimed at regional revitalization, we focused on the residential attributes of the participating teams in the "6th Ryogouchi Rogaining ", and analyzed the data. As a result, the following findings were made clear. (1) Of the total 66 participating teams, approximately 90% were from Shizuoka Prefecture. (2) A small number of teams from neighboring prefectures such as Kanagawa and Aichi were also confirmed. (3) When limited to municipalities within Shizuoka Prefecture, more than 60% of the teams were from Shizuoka City, with a high percentage from Aoi Ku, Shizuoka City. (4) About 30% of the teams were from municipalities other than Shizuoka City, including Fujieda, Fuji, and Yaizu, which are adjacent to Shizuoka City, as well as Shimizu Town, Kosai City, Hamamatsu City, and other cities.
