Consideration concerning public transportation valuing policy of local cities in advanced nations

Case of Switzerland Basel

Abstract

In this report, we investigated Basel, and executed two field survey and hearing investigations. We brought the current state of public traffic of Basel together and arranged the citizens and cooperation of the administration and concrete activation procedure. It has been understood to show the rate that scale of assessments of public transportation is very high and resident's satisfaction rating is high in Basel. Moreover, the system that finally decides it by referendum (citizens vote)"exists, and all residents are participating in the process of the plan decision about the measure.
