Study on the influences of public transportation on land and building uses.
The case of Tama Monorail Line.

Abstract

It is thought that the opening to traffic of the public transport has an important influence in cancellation and the city planning of the road congestion to become the hindrance of the city activity. Therefore I grasp the present situation and a change of the land building use in detail and arrest relevance with the land use and the traffic precisely, and what I analyze quantitatively is important, and it is thought that I am tied to important suggestion for regional plan development. In this study, I investigate the land building use of the consideration area for and the change as a case study in the Tama area that assumed Tama Monorail Line of Tokyo an axis in detail and build the result as a database.<br>I investigate the terms of reference for a range of distance 500m from the station where it is thought that a person uses Tama Monorail Line.
