低湿地堤防の弱点箇所と安全性に関する考察

The qualitative weak points exists for ground property and non-homogeneous characteristic of levee body in low-lying wetland areas in the Ishikari River down stream, and these can cause levee failure and leak of water in flood.

We analyzed levee dimension, disaster classification, and ground condition to grasp influence to give the levees, and we found weak point factors of ground and levee body.

As a result, we extracted old wetland topographic features and former river channel on flood plain.

About a levee failure and several levee disasters, we did seepage analysis and slope stability analysis, and explained mechanism of levee failure and leak of water.

In addition, we found existence of a liquefaction trace to occur in earthquake in levee body as a new weak point.

As a result of general examination of these, a permeable layer exist directory under the levee body, the permeable layer is dead-end type for the ground property, and the levee body has high permeability, a pervious layer.
