小学生を対象とした効果的な河川環境学習手法の提案

Recent years, many environmental education programs are conducted in Japan. But most of those programs are not enough to achieve effective outcome such as letting children understand the relationship between living things and those habitats. In this study, we report our environmental education program, which is conducted in order to make children understand the relationship between living things and those habitats in artificially restored floodplain wetland (Azamenose).

From the result of questionnaire survey, our environmental educational program was one of effective programs for elementary school age children to make them understand the relationship between living things and those habitats. Cooperation among residents, river managers and university is important to conduct environmental education program effectively.
