Abstract
This paper provides the framework necessary to design and develop an ESD learning guidance course to build a lesson model for elementary school disaster prevention education that incorporates the concept of ESD. From the perspective of disaster prevention education, we reconsidered the points to keep in mind when advancing learning guidance based on attitudes and ESD, and established a policy to construct a lesson model. Accordingly, we constructed a lesson model that deals with comprehensive study time and extracurricular activities across subjects. By concretely showing learning activities, teacher questions, and expected child reactions during class development, it is possible to visualize where and how the concept of ESD appears in the class. It is possible, and the lessons are developed in line with the idea of ESD. As an example of disaster prevention education aimed at creating a sustainable society, we believe that we were able to show an example of lessons that can be expected to be utilized at school sites.
