From Electric Furnace Dusts (E F Dusts), that are not always entirely treated through nonferrous-metals refining companies, only Zinc element is recovered and Ferrous element wasted in vain. In this paper, author proposed a new process of E F Dust treatment which not only remove Zn and Pb but upgrade Fe content by chlorinizing and reduction roasting, on addition of ferrous chloride converted from limonite, ferric or ferrous hydrate, active ferric or ferrous oxide etc, on waste gas treating stage.
Thus in this process the treated products are able to reuse as feed materials to electric furnace.
