Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to consider a timetable pf conference by using hybrid grouping genetic algorithm(HGGA). The problem consists of two sub-problems; construction of sessions and allocation of sessions. In session construction, the group is understood as the session which consists of similar papers. In session allocation, the group is the sessions allocated to a same room. The grouping is carried out by using keywords of the papers and category keywords, respectively. The effect of grouping genetic algorithm(GGA) has already been shown for session construction problem. Then, the effect of GGA is shown for the session allocation problem. And, the results will be shown that it was effective in timetabling of conference programs by combining two GGA and making it to the hybrid algorithm.
