Abstract
Sensors used in alarm security services are reviewed. Security will be maintained when the defensive power is superior to the offensive power. In Japan, crimes such as smash-and-grab, lock picking, cash dispenser destruction & theft, and others have gained prevalence over the past few years. The importance of a sensing system which can be promptly modified for the latest modus operandi is addressed.
