Abstract
This paper proposes a head-positioning control of hard disk drive(HDD) by using generalized predictive control(GPC).Since HDD has resonance modes at high frequency, the use of GPC considering intersample output moderates a vibration.We illustrate numerical simulation results to show the effectiveness of the head-positioning control by GPC.
