Identification of piecewise affine system using Mote Carlo filter

Abstract

This paper is concerned with the piecewise affine system identification method based on Bayes estimation and Monte Carlo filter (Juloski et al. 2005).It turns out that the accuracy of this method deteriorates when no a priori statistical information about the parameters is available or the measurement noise is very small. We will propose some methods for improving the identification accuracy in such cases.
