Abstract
Applications of finite difference method (FDM) and boundary element method (BEM) to acoustic design are concsidered. The optimization mathods of the finite difference scheme are presented. As a concrete examles, in order to eliminatethe strong peak and dip caused by the mode of the room, the shape of the space is considered by BEM and the diffuser is designed by FDM.
