抄録

Nutrient contents in fruits and leaves of guava were determined together with the leaves of Japanese persimmon.
Fruits of guava had very high content of vitamin C, and both fructose and glucose were main components of sugars.
Potassium and calcium contents in guava leaves 100g were each 1, 280mg and 1, 240mg, and in Japanese persimmon 2, 190-2, 560mg and 712-1, 190mg, respectively.
Furthermore, the infusion fraction of both leaves contained more than 30% of sodium, potassium and magnesium content, but calcium and iron were a few percents in these samples.
