Hakuba village in Nagano Prefecture was one of the venues of XVIII Olympic Winter Games in Nagano in 1998. The village has been filled with ski visitors for a long time, however, the decrease of tourists, especially ski visitors was remarkable since the beginning of the 1990’s. People and organizations with tourism industry in the village had repeatedly considered about the future way of the tourist destination after the Olympic Games. One of numerous countermeasures was to change the roles of the tourism organization and to strengthen the structure of it. The tourism organization acquired a corporate case in 2005, which was one of the solutions.
This study tried to verify the financial soundness of the organization by corporate financial indicators, whether the organizational structure was strengthened on the financial side by incorporation.
It was verified that the safety of the organization in finance was high because it had no fixed liability, and transaction profitability improved in 9th to 12th terms than in 2nd to 7th terms, but capital profitability declined.
