Abstract

In recent years, with the diversification of consumer needs in the market, it has become essential to respond to the increasing number of consumer products and to the sharp increases and decreases of production at production sites. In order to respond to these demands, multi-process work has been introduced with a central focus on cell production, and it has become necessary to examine the concept of work training for workers. Therefore, in this study, we focus on the difference in working skills between two cell production methods, namely, the one-person method and the division method, and we experimentally verify the relationship between work training and mastery. As a result, it was found that the division method, wherein combinations of different work factors influence the work, exerts a different influence on work learning. In addition, it became clear that work learning is achieved more efficiently by repeating the work training with the one-person method compared with a method wherein the work was subdivided into excessively small segments.
