Abstract
This paper explores the issues of improvisation, collaboration, and creativity in EFL communication; more specifically, the effects of the “Yes, and” structure on the participants’ productions and interactions. It employs category classification of segments and wholistic communication analysis to identify some characteristics of presentational and interactional modes of spoken communication.
