Abstract
Dry sliding Wear of titanium cast iron of eutectic graphite structure was studied.
The wear resistance was found to increase as the eutectic cell number and hardness of matrix increase. Boron inoculation (0.1, 0.3, 0.5% B) with Fe-B (20% B) was found to increase eutectic cell number and hardness of matrix, and also to improve the sliding wear resistance.
