To provide the guideline of the indoor environmental simulation using various person shaped models, benchmark test of CFD is done for airflow around the human body in a room with the displacement ventilation. In this study, we employ the model of a real human shape. The corresponding experiment was conducted to validate the CFD. The spatial distribution of air velocity by the CFD with 600,000 element computational grid points corresponds well to that by the experiment. However the velocities such as thermal plume around the body dose not correspond well to the experiment observed with PIV.
