E-11 Study on the Performance Evaluation of Various Ventilation Systems in Consideration of Building Airtightness : Part 2 Investigation for Condominiums

Abstract

Some mechanical ventilation systems for condominiums are estimated on the basis of air change rate (ACH) simulated by multi-zone flow model. Evaluation criteria are the ACH based on the outdoor air, the effective ACH of cross ventilation between rooms that bring contaminants and formaldehyde. It is confirmed that some mechanical ventilation systems, such as push-pull mechanical ventilation with sanitary fans has a steady ventilation performance with adverse wind effect.
