"Mechanical Lantern", which is air supply opening with lighting adopted at gate lounge of air terminal building, has a rotary impeller powered by pressure of supply air. It changes supply direction with rotation of the rotary impeller. In this paper, the experiment searching air volume-rotation frequency relation and actual measurement of wind velocity around Mechanical Lantern were reported. We confirmed proper rotation frequency by suitable air volume and found Mechanical Lantern equalizing the distribution of supply air.
