Abstract
Different types of airflow systems for a data center are compared in a real scale experimental room. As a result, underfloor air supply overhead return system could make maximum inlet air temperature of the equipments lowest and therefore remove the heat exhaust from the room most effectively. We also found that in the horizontal return system, the height of the ceiling considerably affects thermal environments of the servers.
