Abstract
Because Semi volatile organic compounds (SVOC), such as phthalate esters and phosphate esters that are included in various building materials or household articles as plasticizers and flame retardants, have high boiling point, and the concentration is very low, there is a risk of underestimating the SVOC amount by a measurement method the same as VVOC and VOC. Therefore, for the purpose of evaluating utility of the SVOC measurement method with the glass plate which we developed, experiment of confirming contamination from a container and storage performance, experiment of measuring adsorbed amount of SVOC emitted from polyvinyl-chloride building materials in two kinds of chambers and survey of the extent of contamination in a house were done.
