Abstract
Recently, the topic of research on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is the pollution caused by products of chemical reactions. The mechanism of 2E1H emission is considered that the water with high pH in concrete slab and SL-plaster reacts to Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) in PVC flooring and compounds containing 2-ethyl-1-hexyl group in the adhesive. In this study, PVC floorings are constructed to SL-plaster that contains water with various adhesives and 2E1H emission rate is measured. In these experiments it was found that the 2E1H emission rate is affected by kinds of adhesive.
