Abstract
This paper presents solar shading and daylighting effect of new window system combining thermotropic glass and electrochromic glass. Autonomous solar shading method using thermotropic glass was suggested and developped in the previous studies, but the problem was exposed that cloud control performance came down in the cold winter. This paper suggests cobination of electrochromic glass on thermotropic glass for supporting cloud control. For evaluating this suggestion, annual simulation was performed that involve spectral characteristics, non-steady heat condution and daylighting calculation.
