At the first, the contact area between a human body and a floor was measured by subject experiment. As a result, the contact area of condition with sitting on the floor direct was larger than condition with sitting on the chair. Next, the temperature and the heat flux at the contact point between EFCT device and floor were measured in the living room of the case study house. For each condition, it was found that the floor heating system didn't lose the heat, compared with EHP for the same floor surface temperature.
