Abstract
In order to achieve genuine energy and resource conservation in the operation of a building, day-to-day precise control based on various kinds of operating data makes a big contribution to this process. The first step was the standardization of the measurements required for the improvement of operation control the determination of the items to be measured, followed by the selection of the measurement locations, the standard measurement devices and installation techniques, and finally the determination of measurement system. Then to confirm the reliability of the measurement data, calibration methods were prepared in four categories [1] basic checks, [2] effectiveness checks, [3] compatibility checks, and [4] trend-based checks. Also, because most of the experts can only understand the condition of their HVAC system by means of data presented in the form of graphs, processing methods of measurement data and standard formats of tables and graphs were proposed.
