Abstract
The energy consumption in the residential sector was estimated by using statistical data on family income and expenditures by the Statistical Bureau of Japan. The estimated gas consumption and electric consumption were compared with statistical annual report at Yamaguchi. The author considered factor of error margin.The all of energy consumption in the residential sector at Yamaguchi was estimated by using estimated date. In using this Estimate method, it is possible to examine measures to conserve energy in the region where the energy consumed has not been calculated up to now.
